BITSAT 2020 Notification – BITS Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad Admission

The Birla Institutes of Technology and Science (BITS) have kickstarted the notification for its entrance examination. Called as Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT), the entrance examination admits candidates to three of its institutes. BITSAT is a computer-based test for admissions to integrated first-degree programs of BITS. BITSAT Notification 2020

The integrated first-degree programs are offered by BITS at Pilani campus, Pilani, K.K. Birla Goa campus and Hyderabad campus. Admissions to these institutes require BITSAT every academic year for admissions. For admission to the academic year 2020-21, the BITSAT exam notifications have been released by the institute on the midweek of December. Eligibility for BITSAT 2020

  • Candidates should have cleared 12th Board examination recognized by the institute with 75% aggregate in physics, chemistry, mathematics background
  • For pharmacy courses, the candidates are expected to pass the 12th board in physics, chemistry, biology background
  • Individual percentage of 60% is expected in each subject
  • 60% Proficiency in English is expected
  • Candidates who have written or will be writing the 12th board exams will only be eligible
  • Indians and NRI’s can only apply to BITSAT

BITSAT 2020 Paper Pattern

The test will be conducted for 3 hours without a break. The test contains the parts as given below

The marking scheme consists of 1 mark for every correct answer and 1 negative mark for wrong answers.

  • The admission notifications for BITSAT will be available on the official website from 1st week of January 2020
  • The aspirants are requested to check for the eligibility criteria before registering for BITSAT 2020
  • Candidates can register for BITSAT online from the official website and are expected to have a hard copy of the duly filled form for future references
  • Candidates can book dates and slots within the given time frame at their conveniences – the request will be placed based on first come first serve basis
  • The application fee is different for males and females – Rs. 3150/- for males and Rs. 2650 /- for females
  • The only international test center would be at Dubai and the application for the same is 80 USD
  • There will be 58 test centers across the country for BITSAT and allocation will not be entertained under any circumstances

  • International students’ admission will be through SAT subject scores
